Broken Garage Door Springs

A loud bang from the garage followed by a door that won’t lift means a torsion spring has snapped. Don’t try to lift the door or run the opener repeatedly; it weighs far more than it looks without the spring. We replace springs in matched pairs, sized to your door, and balance the door before we leave.

Door Won’t Open or Is Stuck Crooked

A snapped or frayed cable drops one side of the door and jams it in the track. Running the opener at that point bends track and breaks rollers. Disconnect the opener, leave the door where it is, and call us. We replace cables in pairs and reset the door.

Opener Won’t Respond

Remotes that stop working, wall buttons that do nothing, or a motor that hums without lifting usually come down to a stripped gear, a failed board, a dead keypad battery or safety sensors out of line. We repair LiftMaster, Chamberlain and most other brands, and install new openers when repair doesn’t make sense.
